Capítulo 1: Flowers
"What's your favorite flower?" It was an out of the blue question from their friend, but they guessed it was an effort to save their quieting conversation.
"Sunflower."
"Oh goodie, I hoped that was your favorite! You're the first sunflower!"
"Ha - what do you mean?" They asked while cocking a brow.
"I found this clearing in a forest not too far from here and I started planting my flowers! They're my favorite friends and my friend's favorite flowers!"
"Oh cool, so now there's gonna be a sunflower there?"
"Yep! C'mon, let's go plant it!" The duo left the money for their meal and left for the clearing.
It truly was a sight. It might've been no less than a hundred different flowers in the massive clearing. The moonlight shone perfectly into the spot as well, adding to the aesthetic.
Their friend began to dig out a little spot right beside a rose.
While their friend dug, they looked around more and noticed a decaying aster flower.
"Hey, one o' your flowers is dying."
"Oh? Can you uproot for me? I'll replace it sometime tonight."
They nodded and bent down to pull at the flower. After a bit of tugging and bewildered muttering, the flower came up with a -
"WHY THE FUCK IS THERE A HAND IN IT'S ROOTS?"
Their friend came over and took the flower from their grasp. They brushed off dirt from the rotting hand and set it off to the side as if it was nothing.
"Jasmine was helping me grow that flower."
"J-Jasmine? You're fucking dead friend Jasmine?" They stammered while backing away. Their back hit a tree.
"Hey, are we best friends?"
"I don't fuckin' know, but this might have put a damper on things!"
"I'll take that as a yes! So then I can tell you that you have the honor of joining my field of friends!" They grinned while motioning to the hundreds of flowers behind them.
