Capítulo 3: Star Gazing Academy

In the evening the family had their last meal With Lin Tamayo and the twin jades of Lin. In the next hour, Tamo will be moving out for the Stargazing academy.

Star Gazing academy has created many star-level knights as well as star-level mages. And is named so because the founders of the academy were a star-level knight and mage couple. It was initially called 'The training school for knights and mages'. The married couple can't have a baby for some unknown reason so they treated the students of the school as their children. They gazed at the stars when they felt the pain of having no children. But they also felt a strong bond with the students which helped them ease their pain. So the academy is named 'The Star Gazing Academy'. According to the founders of the school, they renamed so because they hope to see the children in the academy shine like stars in the sky which they would gaze at. It is the only academy to get into the top five academies as a private academy. All the other academies in the top 5 belong to any of the royal families of various countries.

The children of the lord of the forest clan were enrolled in Star Gazing academy except for their elder son. As for Tamayo, she was considered a prodigy of the generation because when she was awakened she already had the spirit level that a black mage will have. At least that's what others think of her strength. As for her real strength, only a person knows of it.

The strength she displayed was so unbelievable because before reaching the earth level there are levels of mortal stages. They were classified into the awakening stage, identification stage, learning stage, cultivation stage, and absorption stage.

There will be a balance between the strength or affinity of the spirit and the soul in the body of a normal human. The spirit and the soul were the two internal elements of a living body. When there is a minor imbalance created between the essence of the spirit and the soul there will be an awakening. If the strength of the spirit exceeds even slightly, there is a high chance of the person becoming a mage but if the strength of the soul exceeds that of the strength of the spirit then it is a knight for the person to become. The strongest internal element will be called the dominant energy and the weaker one will be called the recessive energy.

The identification stage comes right after the awakening stage the body in which the body starts to absorb the essence of nature to form a martial form. A martial form was also said as the bloodline. This stage is to identify the cultivation path of the bloodline. It is an important stage where a ton of patience is needed no matter what kind of prodigy a person is, if this stage is ruined then they are doomed.

The learning stage was also called the exploring stage. The so-called learning stage requires self-learning or self-experimenting of their martial form, the elemental strength it possesses, and their nature in which most of the practitioners lose hope and quit.

The world is full of different kinds of energy. In the cultivation stage, a practitioner should cultivate the specific type of energy for their respective martial form. Each person requires a different essence for example a person with an affinity for the fire element shall not cultivate the energy that belongs to the water element. Not only does the energy restrict each other but also will scrape off the brightness of the person's future when the level of cultivation goes high. So in this stage, any type of natural energy will not affect the body because of the little amount of energy the body absorbs.

The absorption stage is the stage when the absorption of energy is done correctly and when the body is adapted to the cultivation, which means being able to identify the energy without any self-consciousness of the practitioner. The energy is stored in the energy-storing chamber or the energy sea which is located in the lower abdomen. After a certain amount of energy is stored in the energy storing sea the martial form shall be awakened full-fledged which also lets the practitioner possess its unique abilities. It is also said to be the actual awakening. It is also the last stage to overcome to step into the earth realm which means becoming an earth-level practitioner.

Tamayo awakened the full-fledged martial form

The awakening of the 'Azure Lightning Ball' witnessed Lin Tamayo as an earth-level mage. So many famous academies including Royal Mountain School for Royalties, The Meridian School, The Bloodline of Royalty, and The Royal Academy of Mages wanted her to be their student because of her unique martial soul.

Lin Tamayo selected The Star Gazing academy as Lin Cian suggested. Tamayo always listens to Lin Cian not because he is the one who named her Lin Tamayo but he is the one who accompanied her to this day because her other two brothers were students of star gazing academy and rarely visits her.

Cian suggested Stargazing academy because it is by far the nearest academy. As her brothers are already students of the academy there will be no worries about her protection and she would never feel alone.

When they were having their last supper Lin Kuo Jian said

"Welcome to the path of non-losers," he said with a loud and clear tone and laughed at Lin Tamayo to which she responded with a frowning stare.

Lin Daoren said in addition, " I bet this loser may want to rely on us in the future. We will turn him down." This made the twin jades of Lin laugh heavily but they immediately stopped when they felt a sharp glare at them. Lin Tamayo was on the verge of anger when she stretched her hands to point them her hands were restricted by another pair of hands which belongs to Lin Cian who was sitting near her. Her cold stare at her brothers was disappeared when Lin Cian looked at her eyes which made her blush and turn away.

Tamayo was very small but she never laughed or looked down at Cian, she even wanted to stand for Lin Cian. But Lin Cian never allowed her to fight for him.

Except for his two brothers, no one mocked him because they would have to feel the wrath of Lin Tamayo. Lin Cian never blamed or held a grudge against them. He accepted the fact that he is a lame child but he said to himself that he isn't awakened yet.

Even though others don't seem to care about it, he could read their thoughts through their face. He could feel his father being worried about him because of the responsibility Lin Cian should bear as the eldest of the Lin family. He could feel the helplessness of his mother for which she couldn't accept the fact that her son was useless because she never wanted him to get bullied by others. He could feel how his sister loves him.

Even though his brothers mocked him Lin Cian never seems to care about the mockery or bullying because all they know was without strength they are no way to live which is a universal fact. Lin Cian never wanted to show off his feelings to others because he never wanted to be a burden to others by dragging them down.
