Capítulo 50: Ghosts
Lin Cian felt that June was somehow familiar to him. Though he couldn't remember him met her before, her aura made him remember something.
For some minutes June didn't mingle with others. She was sitting near a huge tree which is 10 meters away from the rest of the team. The other members knew her reason to be there so they didn't bother her.
After a few minutes, June joined others but she was very quiet.
A middle-aged man came forward. He was a meter and a half tall. His accents were heavy. He had a heavy body weighing at least 100 kilos. He was very strong with strong muscles and tendons covering his body. His skin tone is not very dark. His face was not very delicate. There were no scars on his face, unlike his body. He was bald but he had a black and white mustache with a very little beard. His eyes emitted responsible energy which also give a sense of secureness. It had dark black pupils. He had a smaller nose and dark-colored lips.
"I am Darius Loaner. I am the angry ghost" said the middle-aged man.
The newcomers got stuck for a minute when heard the word 'ghost'. They looked at the faces each other before someone stepped in.
"Don't scare them, Darius..... Little guys, I am Aveda, the leader of the ghost party. The killing ghost" a female but very bold and firm voice resounded which made the newcomers look in the direction of the voice.
She looked to be in his mid-thirties. She had a strong body but was neither tall nor short, neither fat nor skinny. Her body looked like a pillar of a building. It was very strong that can be said she is the stronger member of the team. Her body was covered with clothes and her curves were purposely hidden. Her hands looked delicate but emitted a strong aura. Her clothes weren't that well made. It was just a cloth made by a tailor and was very dark blue. At least it looked like that. A sword in its sheath was hung on her waist that is attached to its belt. Her forearms were fully covered with her handguards. Unlike June she didn't wear a hood instead but her blonde hair was braided that reached the length of her waist. Her face had no trace of uneasiness that always emitted an energetic feeling. Her eyes had grey outer and black inner colored pupils. Her lips were a little darker but her skin color was a little darker than the color of June's.
She smiled at the newcomers who looked at her "Welcome to the party of 'ghosts'. Choose your alias." The words she said were very firm and clear. It also made Lin Cian and William admire and respect her instantly for her courage to hold on to a party as the leader. Although there were woman leaders existed but it is not easy for a woman to be a leader of a party unless or until the party members were afraid of her power or the party members respected her. In this case, the second one will be the most suitable. But that doesn't mean she wasn't strong.
When Lin Cian used his 'demons gaze' on Aveda only to find out her aura was terrifying. But she never boasted about her strength and also didn't dominate or tried to show her authority over the others in her party instead she decided to stay low. When June wanted to take care of Lin Cian and William she never denied or raised a voice against it. When Lin Cian wanted to join her team she gave the choice to June because she trusted her teammate. After the approval of June, she looked at Lin Cian and William as they were members of her party.
Lin Cian released a short laugh and slightly bowed his head towards her.
"I am Rindell, glad to meet you all," Lin Cian said in a calm yet respectful tone.
"This is Lance, glad to meet you all," William followed with a bow.
They hid their identity because their names as 'William' and 'Cian' would get them killed. The woman just smiled at them saying nothing at them.
"Fine... fine,... We were also... happy to meet you" said another man. Lin Cian and William turned back to see a man wearing a hat. It was the person who took care of William. When the newcomers start to speak he stopped them by speaking first.
"I am Wei Li, Annoying ghost" at once he started to laugh. His laugh was loud and creepy. If he was a strong being then his laugh would kill normal people.
"I am June, the smiling ghost and this is my husband, Harry Lockwood, the mysterious ghost," said June in a quick tone while pointing out the quiet guy who checked the bodies.
'What?.... That is her husband?' both Lin Cian and William thought themselves.
Lin Cian and Lockwood stared at each other for a minute. They continued to maintain eye contact until they hear someone clearing their throat. When they came to reality Lin Cian looked at the other members of the party while the mysterious ghost looked at the ground. When Lin Cian looked at the other members he understood that they were very eager to welcome them into their team.
Both William and Lin Cian listened to whatever they were speaking. Each one in the party was strong and they started to boast themselves in front of the newbies except for the mysterious ghost. He stood very silent.
When June was speaking she would often look at her husband to see how he would react. But he just stood still and was staring at the ground.
"Harry don't you want to say something to them," June asked her husband indicating to speak to the newcomers.
"I am Harry. Nice to meet you" a broad but gentle voice slipped out from Harry's tongue after slightly nodding at June. He looked at Lin Cian and William. After a while, he slightly bowed his head and left the scene.
Lin Cian slightly raised his eyebrows at the attitude of Harry Lockwood. After all, Lin Cian is good at reading the emotions of others. Harry looked like he missed someone like June and was eager and wanting to speak to the newcomers but something seem to stop him. He seems to have filled in guilt and sorry. He looked emotionless but Lin Cian can read his face.
William wasn't caring about anything happening but was focused on something. Lin Cian looked at him and saw that William was in deep thought so he decided not to disturb him. Before Lin Cian could take away his stare from him, William looked at him and smiled. Lin Cian started to confuse before
"My alias would be the 'troublesome ghost' how is it? " he asked Lin Cian.
