After a few hours, Lin Cian slowly regained consciousness. When he can to his senses he felt a strange sensation on his upper lips. When he opened his eyes he saw the woman was wiping off the bloodstain on his face with a piece of cloth. When she saw that Lin Cian is awake she quickly retreated her hands and stared at him.
"Thank you"
He said and got on his butt leaning towards the nearby tree. She stared at him
"What?" Lin Cian asked in confusion.
"You are much like her," she said with a complex tone. Lin Cian's eyes widened. He was curious.
"Who?" he asked.
"Doral," she said. Lin Cian was a little bit shocked but he didn't show it out. Seeing him staring at her she understood that his answer didn't satisfy him.
"I will tell you my story. Would you like to hear it?"
As he heard this he took away his stare and checked out the surroundings only to see that William is laying near him just fine.
"We were deep into the forest. The bloodstains may lead strong members of their clan as well as the beasts. So I bought you here" she said as she wasn't looking onto his face. Instead, she faced down to the ground.
As soon as Lin Cian heard it he adjusted his position and sat comfortably leaning against the tree and looked onto her face. When she saw that she understood and started to speak
"I am Ayla. I don't know where I was born nor who my parents are but I was bought up by a couple since I was a pup. They own an academy. They became my parents and I became their daughter. Till now their love for me didn't change a bit. For past years I can only feel comfortable when I was with them. The others avoided me." she made a gap and took some breaths then continued.
"I was learning in their academy. Because of my identity, no one tends to have a friendship with me. My parents were always supportive and they said I will have a friend who will take care of me and respect me." She paused and smiled remembering the incident.
"Before three years we had a recruit, Dorel. She use to play with me. Only with her did I act like me without worrying about the comments of others. She was never afraid of me. She loved the fact that I am a werewolf. Whenever we got bored she would travel on my back as I will run into the valley with her on my back. Many will run away after my transformation but she came near me and hugged me" she paused again, took a deep breath, and continued.
"She said my fur is so soft," she said in an embracing voice, and her eyes filled with tears. It wasn't the tears of sadness but joy. Lin Cian knew how much it meant to her. He turned his head towards William who is also listening as he was laying down. After a few minutes, she started to speak further.
"She is my only friend. Why should I watch them feed on her?" she stopped at this. They understood everything.
"Are they your schoolmates," asked William as he got up and crossed his legs.
She nodded.
"What made a school fight a fight to the death?" he was eager to know why she is fighting with them.
"They tricked Doral for dual cultivation," she said which froze both William and Lin Cian.
Lin Cian's face became pale as he heard those words. William didn't let out a word in shock.
------------------------------
Before a few days.
In the academy were Ayla is enrolled.
The little girl whose name is Doral came to Ayla who was in her room reading a book. The room is quite large and had wooden textures on the walls. It had a rack full of books, a huge table, a huge couch and a large bed. The room is decorated in girly taste.
she sat in the couch and faced Ayla who was in a chair behind the table.
"Ayla can we do it tomorrow?.... Today I am going out for dual cultivation"
"What?" Ayla asked shockingly. She glared at the little girl.
"Tailor asked me to go with him. He said it can improve my cultivation"
"Do you know what it means?" roared Ayla with anger. She stood up from the chair.
Seeing Ayla angry the little girl tried to convince her
"Don't worry Ayla. Tailor is my friend and he is a Dracula. He said it is a different method that is used vampires for cultivation. He said it is not a secret of their clan and offered to teach me. so if it suits..."
"Do you want to marry him? " Ayla interfered with a calm and clear tone.
Hearing that Doral's face became pale.
"What did you?" her eyes became wet.
Seeing her breakdown Ayla moved from her position and neared Doral. Doral was very sensitive to this topic whenever it is spoken in to her. The little girl wept in Ayla's embrace for a day until she slept unconsciously.
On the next day the little girl woke up in Ayla's room. The previous night Ayla was worried about and let Doral sleep in her bed so she can take care of the little girl. Seeing that Doral woke up and was so sad about the incident happened in the previous day Ayla said to Doral as she was carassing Doral's head.
"When you are old as I am now you are allowed dual cultivate. Don't let anyone trick you. There will be a man who you love, ask him to help you in this"
"Is it true that this method improve the strength of a person drastically?" she asked in embracing tone.
Ayla halted and looked at the eyes of the little girl in front of her. Doral took a deep breath and cleared her throat and in a bold tone she said
"I won't allow myself before 18. Can you explain me about that?"
Ayla explained her about the methods of dual cultivation which made her focused on the topic. Ayla knew that, only something knowledgeable can change Doral's mood. So she used the same topic of her sadness to comfort her.
After a while after having a deep thought Doral once again asked in a clumsy tone
"Ayla should I marry the one who I dual cultivate with?"
Ayla was a bit shocked by this question. But she never wanted to betray her. So she tend to give an obvious answer.
"They chose to do so because it involves them to be a real couple unlike other partnership cultivation methods"
Doral's face became pale. She felt that she was betrayed by a friend. She never have thought about something like that will ever happen to her. She wanted to cry but she went to Tailor instead.
She went to one of the training grounds where Tailor was. When Tailor saw Doral he ran near her and asked
"I have been waiting for you yest....."
"You tricked me." she interfered in a small tone but she was in an uproar.
He stared at her like he couldn't understand.
"I shall only dual cultivate with my husband. But you...…" she couldn't finish it. She bit her lips and held a part of her dress tightly.
His face turned pale. He decided to confront her head on because she was a weakling. He slipped a short laugh and said in a serious and gentle tone "It's nothing serious. You are a little girl so,..." his tone changed. His serious and gentle tone switched into a creepy tone "your future husband will have no idea about this. It is not wrong about....."
Before he could finish lightning sparks descended towards him. Immediately a fight broke out between Doral and Tailor. The enraged little girl showed her true strength. The strength of the little girl is overbearing which made the mighty vampire kneel in front of her with burns and bruises. The whole academy came to know the strength of Doral the little girl. Suddenly another vampire started to attack Doral but the little girl fed her anger to the attacker. If not for Ayla stopping her she would have gone berserk.
After that a once again a different wave of vampires tried to attack Doral for which Ayla saved her with her strength and her authority. Since then she was always with Ayla.
Doral never dared to speak to anyone except Ayla about cultivation and stuff. The impact of the event was very heavy for her. She practiced all by herself and avoided any male friends. She even avoided male teachers. The once lively little girl slowly transformed into a complete introvert.
She mostly spend her time learning, training and with Ayla. Tailor was so angry towards Ayla for spoiling his plan. The spirit of Doral is very different and powerful so he wanted to taste her blood but it was ruined by Ayla. So he set a teleporting portal to trap Ayla in the forest and fulfill all his needs on her. But was stopped by William and Lin Cian.
