Capítulo 11: Old Man
Xia Lan takes the pill offered. She eats it after some hesitation.
"Eating this will stop my body and spirit from clashing, but, I'll feel pain equivalent to Mr. Nan's once every month?"
"Yes. Also, I'm sending you to a cultivation sect. You'll be a disciple studying directly under the headmaster, who's an old friend of mine. You'll be leaving this afternoon. That'll leave you at least 3 hours to pack some essentials." He says quickly and pushes his niece to her room. She walks toward her room, grumbling a few choice words about her Uncle.

"You know she can only live 5 more years at most, right?" a voice says behind Xia Lan's Uncle.
"Yes. I know. But I promised Lan Chu that I'd help his daughter, no matter what. That includes across time."
The old man sighs. "I can help her cultivate, but she won't be able to live long enough to gain access to either the Lower or Upper Realm."
"The mother was Han Lu Shi."
"WHAT?!?! YOU NEVER TOLD ME I'D HELP THE GREATEST IMMORTAL'S DAUGHTER CULTIVATE?!?! Oh, this is going to be fun to do!!!" The old man chuckles.

KingFoxJellyfish I know I haven't been updating a lot recently as I promised. But, apparently, my eye doctor said I have to reduce my screen time to 5 hours a week for about 5 months to preserve my eyesight. So, I can only update once or twice a week. I'm so sorry, but I need to take care of my eyes. Please understand.
Question:
Is this a good story? I'm kinda self-conscious about it.
