Capítulo 165: Didn’t You Live Well?

This earned a sigh from Nikolai. 

It was exactly what he was trying to avoid. He knew Caesar would never be able to endure it if anything were to happen to Adeline; he loved her more than he could handle. Yet he wasn't willing to let her in or talk of forgiving her. 

What was the point? Why wait around for her to get hurt if he was going to be this way when she actually did? 

"Yes sir." Yuri gave a nod and moved over to Adeline. He touched her nose, nodding in confirmation that she was still breathing. 

But the problem was that her fever was high, and he needed to stop her head from bleeding too. 

"Nikolai, could you help me get the aid box from my room?" he asked. 

Nikolai nodded without hesitation and left the room. 

Caesar turned to Yuri, asking, "Is she okay? Why is her head bleeding? Is she badly hurt?" He was worried and too apprehensive; Yuri could hear his voice breaking.
