"Do you, Adeline Ivanovna Alexerye, take Caesar Romanovich Kuznetsov to be your lawfully wedded husband?" 

"I do," Adeline responded, nodding heartily with a wide smile. It was the happiest moment of her life—the happiest she'd ever been. 

And Mr. Sokolov wasn't sure when drops of tears began to fall from his eyes. He didn't think a day would come when he would see her that happy. 

"I hereby pronounce you, husband and wife," the priest said with a beam. "You may kiss the bride." 

Caesar snatched Adeline by the wrist, pulling her into his arms. He took the veil off and pressed his lips against her, kissing her, this time so purely and gently like nothing she'd ever experienced before. 

Was this what it truly felt like marrying someone you wanted? The feeling was overwhelming, almost like she was in a bed of clouds. She felt like she would cry and she couldn't pinpoint why.
