Capítulo 42: Won’t Let Him Go

After that night, Bradon hardly ever came home, and soon enough, I realized that he had his own bedroom located somewhere unbeknownst to me in the mansion. He never spent the night with me after that first night to my utter relief. Just thinking that I had sex with him that night made me feel very conflicted inside. The discomfort and tightness in my chest that accompanied my thoughts of that passionate night that we shared made me lock that memory away as I willed myself to forget all about it.

“Can’t you put me down any gentler?” I asked sarcastically after he had practically dumped me onto the bed.

Although he made sure to carry me all the way to my bedroom, Bradon showed no interest in me after he was done with the task. Once again, I had no idea what he was thinking. I watched in confusion as he stared at me silently before turning to leave.

“Wait! We need to talk,” I cried out desperately as I reached my hands out to grab his arm.
