As Ed darted through the forest hidden by the thick canopy he had at some point received a particular message. It was a hopeful message but it was one that at the same time had filled him with curiosity.
[Connection found and reestablished]
...was what it had said. After reading that it was impossible for Ed to continue at his same leisurely pace, he rushed towards Blurak's cavern. The message had likely appeared due to both of them becoming close enough for the system to spot W and there was no other point of interest nearby. Thus this was his best bet.
But… Why was he not dead? Why did the humans let him go? It made no sense. So Ed was curious, nearly as much as he was worried.
To the point where not even the darkness of the tree's thick foliage could not conceal his hurried movements.
Did you expect things to turn out like this? Probably not or you'd be writing this. So instead of answering that why not give me critiques on what you actually read. Sounds like a chore, no? I hate chores too so just tell me if you enjoyed it.
For those happy with chores, however... what do you think Eon is doing? Is he going in for a secret invisible strike? What will happen if the royal company also gets here, will Ed's preparations have been pointless?
Thanks for reading~! Hope you liked it. I brought out my best for the first 600 words or so, or at least I think I did.
