Marilyn had actually meant to invite Mark to this meeting earlier so that they would give Mark an offer for collaboration, just like they had given to Gunter and all the other Sovereigns. This way, Mark would have more of a reason to stay in the country and the country could be assured that if they were ever in trouble, then they could count on Mark to come to their aid. But from what Marilyn was hearing, not only would they not be able to strike the deal with Mark, Mark was intending to leave the country constantly to help out in other parts of the world! That could end very badly if other countries heard about this!

Legioneer_1000 Marylin and the rest of the hihger ups are all relly worried abuot the future of America because of how most of the SOVERIGNS had been either killed or taken away all in less than a week. Gunter and Sasha's deaths tore the number of SOVERIGNS down to half and Luna leaving to join Mark's guild also took her away from the control of the goveremnt. So right now, not only are they desperate to get any form of protection that they ccan, they are also trying their best to make sure that Mark and his guild do not go anywhere while they are working to bring the country beck to the state it had been in before the Armageddon attack.
