After handing over the unconscious David to the local authority of the Yardin city, as requested by the Barson government, Stanley and Gray took a ride back to Freenox city to announce their mission's success.
"Does this… count as a success?" Stanley asked after keeping to himself for a while.
Reena, who was driving the car, looked toward him with a confused look. "Why would it not be?" she asked. "We did what we came here to do."
"I know. I'm… I'm not talking about the mission," he said. "I'm talking about myself. The reason why you two came with me was because you wanted to see if I was taking care of everything by myself. But I wasn't. I needed Gray's help."
"Oh, don't worry about that," Reena said. "It's my fault for not realizing what the man was capable of. There's nothing you could've done from the start since you got the wrong info."
"Oh, okay," Stanley said. Maybe he was just overthinking it.
