While Feng Mo was deep in thought, a hearty laugh echoed from outside the palace.
"Little sister, I've missed you so much! I'm here to see you!"
Hearing this, the Elven Queen frowned slightly, her delicate expression filled with a hint of annoyance, her eyes taking on a sharp glint as she looked toward the palace entrance.
A figure walked in through the entrance, and Feng Mo focused his gaze.
This person was wearing a dark green combat suit, with deep blue skin exposed, bald, and with features that were missing a nose. Instead, there were three small slits on each side of his cheeks. The entire figure stood over two meters tall, built like a bear.
As the Bisi King walked in, his eyes swept over his surroundings with a commanding presence, as if inspecting his territory. He exuded an air of arrogance and superiority—this was the epitome of being haughty and domineering.
Seeing the Bisi King's arrogance, Feng Mo narrowed his eyes, a trace of killing intent flashing through them as he contemplated whether to strike him down then and there.
Although the Elven Queen and the Bisi King were both third-level genetic warriors, Feng Mo had his T3 Black Obsidian Battle Armor, giving him a seventy percent chance of taking them both down.
But after a brief moment of contemplation, Feng Mo withdrew his killing intent, sitting calmly as if nothing had happened.
The burst of killing intent from Feng Mo had come and gone in an instant, but both of the tribal leaders present, seasoned from countless battles, could not miss it. The Bisi King's grotesque face twisted into a strange grin as he looked at Feng Mo and spoke:
"You must be Viscount Feng Mo. Apologies for being late. My Bisi tribe is poor, our starships are nowhere near as advanced as your fleet, so naturally, it took us longer to get here. Right, Viscount?"
He let out a low chuckle, his face contorting even more grotesquely.
Feng Mo remained motionless, merely observing the Bisi King in silence. The scene grew tense. After three long minutes, the grin on the Bisi King's face had vanished, replaced by a fierce and menacing aura.
At this moment, Feng Mo smiled slightly and spoke:
"Since I bombarded the Xueying Bai Family, you're the first one bold enough to provoke me like this. So, tell me, who's backing you?"
"The Bai Family of Snowhawk? The Tianqi Qiao Family? Or perhaps the Yunshan Jiang Family? Or all three combined?"
"I'll give you one chance. Crawl over here and kowtow until I'm satisfied, and maybe I'll let you live. If not, you die."
As soon as Feng Mo finished speaking, an intense killing intent burst from him. Behind him, the Laika and Laixi sisters placed their hands on their weapons, ready to strike at any moment.
The atmosphere became deadly. It was three against one. Even though the Bisi King was a third-level genetic warrior and held a clear advantage over the two second-level warriors, Feng Mo's status and the power behind him made him hesitant.
Killing a noble of the Federation's empire would provoke unimaginable consequences. Especially someone like Feng Mo, with powerful backers. The Federation might allow wars between different species, but killing a noble would invite the wrath of the entire Federation.
Feng Mo could be insulted and scorned, but not killed. However, remembering the assurances from his own supporters, the Bisi King felt emboldened and retorted:
"Just a mere second-level genetic warrior, don't think too highly of yourself just because I call you 'Viscount.'"
Before he could finish, Feng Mo sprang toward him like an arrow. As he advanced, the T3 Black Obsidian Battle Armor enveloped him, and he gripped two blades, slashing down.
The Bisi King was momentarily startled by the sudden attack, but when he saw the black armor appear on Feng Mo, his expression twisted with fear. Yet his body reacted quickly.
The massive Bisi King deftly rolled to his right, barely avoiding Feng Mo's blades, and retreated a full ten meters.
Boom!
Feng Mo's dual blades struck the ground, splintering wood and making a deafening crash.
The force was absorbed by the armor, giving Feng Mo a clear advantage. Normally, a third-level genetic warrior would struggle to evade such an attack, but the Bisi King, nearly at the fourth level, managed to escape.
Seeing this, Feng Mo knew he couldn't rely on melee weapons.
"Today, your insolent mouth seals your fate. I don't care who's backing you, and I don't want to know."
As he spoke, panels on Feng Mo's shoulders opened, revealing an array of micro-missiles. This sight made the Bisi King's scalp tingle with fear. The observing Elven Queen, no longer caring about her composure, shouted:
"Quick! Everyone evacuate the palace!"
She herself hid in a corner, glancing at Feng Mo in his armor with a mix of awe and fascination.
Feng Mo launched fifty micro-missiles from his left shoulder, each trailing fire as they homed in on the Bisi King.
The Bisi King panicked. The sight of the battle armor had already sapped his fighting spirit. Battle armor like this was rare in the Stormstar System, made from memory metal found only in Federation military stores.
The Bisi King had once seen his predecessor slaughtered by a human in such armor, which was why he had become the new king.
The raw materials for Feng Mo's battle armor alone were worth 400,000 star credits. Factoring in market rates, it would be three times that—enough to buy a T4-class interstellar destroyer.
Desperate, the Bisi King ran, trying to dodge the incoming missiles, weaving around the spacious palace, and even ripping doors off to use as shields.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The palace echoed with explosions until every last missile detonated. The Bisi King, battered and bleeding, finally dropped to his knees and pleaded:
"Viscount! Spare me! I have valuable information!"
"Oh? What information?" Feng Mo asked coldly.
"The Xueying Bai Family has organized three fleets, including a T4-class starship, to conquer the entire Stormstar System and claim the P459 Resource Planet."
This was indeed critical information. Feng Mo pressed on:
"Do you know where these fleets are hidden?"
The Bisi King's eyes darted nervously. Feng Mo understood and flexed his fingers. Five violet beams shot out, piercing the Bisi King's head and chest.
The Bisi King's eyes widened in shock, but he was dead before he could even react.
