Capítulo 127: The Invasion of Torfa

Once the Imperium ship reached the planet, which was defenseless John issued his command to launch ground troops.

"Send out all ground forces and seize control of the planet, but leave any innocent civilians unharmed," said John.

He watched from his Command seat on the Imperator as all the transport ships descended onto the planetary surface. He remained in his chair to monitor the battle below.

As his forces invaded the planet it didn't take long for the Kree Empire to send a fleet to the planet to defend it. But John's fleet was ready to route the enemy fleet. With their superior technology the Imperium space ship's would have the advantage in this fight.

The Kree ships were no match for the Imperium's firepower. Blasts of laser's tore through the Kree ships, destroying them one by one. John watched from the bridge of his flagship as the Kree fleet fell into disarray. Their ships scattered in all directions, trying to outrun the Imperium's firepower.

John felt a surge of triumph. He had been planning this invasion for days, studying the Kree's weaknesses and planning his approach meticulously. And now, it was paying off. The Kree were on the run and the Imperium was closing in for the kill.

As the Kree ships fled in a disorganized manner, John's flagship moved forward, leading the charge. His fingers traced the controls of his command console, expertly guiding his ship through the chaos. He felt a thrill of excitement rush through him, the adrenaline pumping through his veins.

"Sir, we've detected an enemy cruiser on the outskirts of the battle," the communications officer reported. "It's heavily armed and moving at full speed towards us."

John leaned forward, his eyes narrowing. "Bring up the visuals."

The screen flickered to life, displaying an image of a sleek, deadly-looking ship. It was adorned with Kree markings, and John knew that it was one of their most advanced models.

"Ready the weapons," John ordered calmly. "We're taking that ship down."

His crew worked quickly, the sound of fingers tapping on consoles filling the bridge. The hum of the Imperium's weapons systems filled the air as they locked onto the enemy cruiser.

"Fire!" John commanded, his voice ringing out with authority.

The ship's weapons systems released a barrage of laser blasts, striking the enemy cruiser with precision. The Kree ship tried to evade, but it was too late. The Imperium's weapons had already weakened its shields, leaving it vulnerable to the final blow.

The Kree cruiser exploded in a shower of sparks and debris, and John felt a sense of satisfaction wash over him. He had always been a skilled strategist, and his victory in this battle only proved it further.

"Good work, everyone. Let's continue the pursuit and end this invasion once and for all."

The Imperium's fleet surged forward, the Kree ships scattering before them, like frightened birds. John's flagship led the charge, his crew working in perfect synchronization with each other. They had trained for this moment for years, and their skills were now being put to the ultimate test.

John surveyed the battlefield, his mind calculating the next move. He knew that the Kree wouldn't give up easily, and he couldn't afford to let his guard down.

"Sir, we have incoming transmission from the Kree commander," the communications officer reported, her voice tense.

John nodded, his face a mask of calm. "Patch it through."

The screen flickered to life, revealing the Kree commander's face. He looked angry and defiant, his eyes blazing with fury.

"Imperium scum," he spat. "You will pay for what you've done."

John raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a smirk. "Is that so? I think it's the other way around, Commander. Your fleet is in shambles, and you're running for your lives. Your defeat is inevitable."

The Kree commander clenched his fists, his face contorting with rage. "We will not be defeated so easily. We will fight until our last breath to protect our planet."

John chuckled softly. "You can try, but it won't make a difference. Surrender now, and we'll spare your lives."

The Kree commander's eyes flashed with anger. "We will never surrender to the likes of you. Our honor demands that we fight until the end."

John sighed, shaking his head. "Very well. If that's what you want, then prepare to face the full might of the Imperium."

With that, he cut off the transmission and turned to his crew. "Let's finish this once and for all. Prepare for a final assault."

The Imperium's fleet surged forward, their weapons systems releasing a barrage of laser blasts that tore through the remaining Kree ships. The battle was fierce, with laser blasts flying in every direction. John watched on as the Kree ships fought desperately to save their planet, but it was in vain.

The Imperium's superior weapons easily tore through the weaker Kree defenses, raining destruction down onto them. Within minutes, John's forces had destroyed the entire Kree fleet, leaving the planet vulnerable.

"Sir, the planet's forces are transmitting back to the Kree Government," the communications officer reported. "The Kree are requesting immediate reinforcements."

John nodded, his lips curling into a smirk. "Let's send them a little surprise. Open an audio channel."

The communications officer nodded and her fingers flew across her console. Soon, the Kree voice filled the bridge. It was filled with panic and fear, and the Kree commander seemed to be pleading to his superiors for help.

"Please, don't abandon us," the commander begged. "We need help! You can't leave us here!"

John's smirk widened.

"Commander, you underestimate the might of the Imperium. We have already won this battle, and your planet is now ours for the taking," John replied with a cold voice.

There was a moment of silence on the other end before the Kree commander spoke again. His voice was filled with defiance this time, and John could sense the desperation in it.

"You may have won this battle, but the war is far from over. We will not go down without a fight," the Kree commander declared.

John let out a low chuckle. "Oh, I'm counting on it. The Imperium enjoys a good fight, after all. But don't worry, Commander. We won't be leaving you alone. In fact, we're sending reinforcements."

There was a hint of confusion in the Kree commander's voice. "Reinforcements? From the Imperium?"

John nodded. "Yes, but don't be too excited. These reinforcements won't be coming to aid you

They're coming to take over your planet completely. You see, we don't just want to win this battle, we want to ensure that the Kree are wiped out completely. And with the help of our new ally, we'll be able to do just that."

The Kree commander's voice wavered. "New ally? Who are they?"

John smiled, even though he knew the Kree commander couldn't see it. "Let's just say they're not from around here. But they are extremely strong. You'll be seeing them soon enough."

There was a final moment of silence before John ended the transmission. He turned to the Commander next to him, a loyal soldier named Marcus. "Prepare our reinforcement's. We leave for the Kree planet in three hours."

Marcus saluted. "Yes, sir. And the new ally?"

John grinned. "They'll be joining us shortly" Said John as he looked at the tattoo on his arm which showed his connection with Drago his Dragon companion.

Drago hadn't been brought out in a while and he was eager for a battle where he could fight once again.
