The two men were staring at her in surprise.
"I'm sorry?" Suyeon frowned. "Did you not hear my name correctly, grandma?"
The old woman in front of him was staring at him curiously and with a little fear as if she had seen a ghost. She stood there, unmoving.
"Ms. Wang?" Jinhyun probed. She was acting strangely upon seeing Suyeon. He glanced back at the youth. To be honest, he felt as if he had met this person before but could not recall where. Did he cross paths with him and Cherry before? He tried to rack his brains but got no answer.
"I-I should get going," Cherry stammered. "It was nice to meet you after a long time, Jinhyun."
Before Jinhyun could respond, she darted off. She did not look back but kept on walking, her mind deep in turmoil. She could feel their curious gazes at her, taken aback by her actions. But she had to get out of there.
Will Shina reunite with her mother? Or will her step mother create more hurdles for her? How will the past bring her into conflict with Jinhyun?
