Capítulo 24: An Affair

"C-Can you hear-r m-ee?" A voice asked distortedly as I stood still. "Aera? Are you o-okay?"

My head was spinning and a bang of migraine struck in again.

I just stood there…

Speechless…

His eyes etched a look of confusion as he watched me.

And I had no words to say.

Nothing was coming into my head.

I clenched my fist, folding my dress with the ball.

"Aera!"

Zap!~

The brittle chattering of the invited dignitaries for the grand opening filled my ear and I was back to being normal.

"Are you okay, Aera?" Ji Hoon inquired urgently, as his brows narrowed with worry.

He had been calling my name for a while, but I had zoned out for a minute, the world around me drawing silent.

His hand was stretched towards me to take my in so I could descend the stairs flexibly with him.

I let out a fragile sigh, confused about what was going on with me.

Why am I constantly feeling a striking dash in my head?
