Capítulo 109: Rishi Station 2
The group of ten began ascending to the top of the cliff using the Jetpacks. They knew climbing might result in some unnecessary deaths because of the Rishi Eels. One of the few rules about Rishi Station is that the Clones weren't allowed to the leave the platform because of how dangerous the creatures were. So staying away from the walls or the ground in general was a very good idea.
As the group approached top of the cliff, they veered away from the base to keep the Commando Droids stationed on the platform from seeing them. Eventually, landing on the roof near the ventilation systems. Looking up the ten members noticed that the Separatist were starting to arrive in the the system deciding to move quickly they enter the vents and moved quickly into the supply room expect for two Mandalorians who moved towards the platform getting ready to assault the couple Commandos guarding the platform.
"Bo we only have two Commandos on the platform that should leave you with eight on the inside of the base." Both of the Mandalorians that took the outside prepared their blasters for a quick snipe while awaiting further orders. "I'll take the left." The one whispered to his comrade.
"We should only have eight Commandos on the inside. We should be able to make quick work. Clones work from right to the left and we will go from left to right." All the Clones nodded in agreement to the overall strategy knowing full well that the Mandalorians were the best chance for taking back the base.
"You've never told us how you planned to steal the Separatist ships." Captain Appo came to the realization that they've been out of the loop for next part of the plan and knew that they should get the details so they so make any mistakes. Bo-Katan smiled under her helmet while keeping her eyes forward.
"Don't worry. We have about ten squads of Mandalorians sitting in space awaiting for our assault on Rishi Station to begin. We are just waiting for them to send reinforcements down to begin and that will be the ship they will hit."
Location: Outside of the Mandalorian Sector Plo-Koon Transport Vessel
"I have extremely important information, that I received from Clan Spartan." Plo-Koon felt a little rushed when reporting back to the Jedi Temple with Chancellor present. "They've received intel that the Separatists are planning on attacking Rishi Station.
"We must send word immediately and reinforce the position. Why did they hold back this intel!" Mace Windu felt insulted that the Clan Spartan once again made things harder for the Republic.
"I agree we must hurry and protect Rishi Station before they get to Kamino." Chancellor Palpatine played his role perfectly in order to fool the Jedi. He knew they already controlled the base and were about to make their final push towards Kamino soon.
"I'm afraid it's already to late . According to them the Separatist already own the station. They claimed they held back the information because they wished to capture some ships." This time Palpatine shook a bit knowing that his plans may once again fail because of Clan Spartan.
"The All-Clear Signal is still transmitting from Rishi Station. However, Commander Cody and Captain Appo who were sent to survey the base operations have failed to check in." This caused the Jedi to think about the best way of handling the situation.
"Did they say anything Master Plo." Master Mundi wanted more information so he could properly consider there options.
"You must protect Rishi Station. I will report to the Council." Chancellor Palpatine hung up his Hologram and immediately summoned Count Dooku. He would make sure the Count knew he had to make sure the Spartans wouldn't steal a ship.
Watching the panic Chancellor most of the Master sighed and returned to the issue on hand. "They did not." replied Master Plo-Koon although he had information on other things that the Spartans released he figured Rishi Station was more important at the moment. He would relay the rest at a later time.
"I'm in favor of sending Obi-Wan and Anakin to Rishi Station. The protection of Kamino is far more important then the capture of a few vessels. If they fail and the Separatist arrive at Kamino the war effort would be in trouble." All of the Jedi Masters agree upon this so the fleets were sent.
