Planet of Hoth Alpha Base After the attack
"So you're telling me you lost half of the base to a wild beast? How could this have happened and you better have a good explanation about this." Ri'lah was furious this time. His plans were set back by a bunch of beasts. The amount of casualties were more than in any battle that they've fought 121 dead! With the battle of Ryloth coming up he wouldn't be able to send anymore mining crews to replace what they've lost. Thankfully, it was only their Hoth mining post and they didn't lose any valuable Ghost units.
"Sir! It was the beast we spotted yesterday that Jack and Lantern followed into the mountains. It's highly plausible that they followed the two of them here. Believing they found another food source as they are the apex predators in this region." The Base General attempted to make the two as the scapegoat's for this incident. He didn't wish for his personal status to be affected by this. Unfortunately, for him there were multiple Ghost units in the base at the time and news of him not taking command in the crisis would arise.
"The beast? We may need to rethink how dangerous these beasts are. As a matter of fact I've done a little research of my own and those beasts are referred to as Wampa's. No matter, I already have the facts about the incident and I'm sure you'd like to hear the results." The General could tell in his voice that Ri'lah was extremely displeased by his actions.
"Yes Sir!" The Base General could only quiver. Knowing the outcome wasn't going to be good for himself.
"When the reinforcements arrive, you'll be relieved of your post and will return back to Naboo to retrain in the Academy. Even if the scouts made the mistake here as the General of this base you've failed. As such, you'll have to restart from the academy." The General was extremely relieved he was court martial although this demotion was a huge hit on his military career. He would at least be able to start over from scratch.
"Thank you sir for your kind gesture." Ri'lah only smiled as the General bowed towards him. Ri'lah however, wasn't as kind as he lead the man and his people. When the projection ended he turned towards his loyal attendant.
"Send word to the Ghost that the General needs to have an accident on his way back. We must keep trimming our loose ends." The attendant frowned slightly and relayed the orders to the Ghost station on base.
Planet of Hoth Alpha Base Ghost Unit
A member of the Ghost entered into a room with three others all carrying serious expressions. "Orders from the top. Grade A Mission." All members from the Ghost unit knew exactly what this meant. Grade A's meant assassin mission.
"Who's the target?" All the Ghost knew being on the Planet of Hoth could only mean one thing. The target was here already and that could only mean one of their own men.
"The General. Failure to properly defend the base and hide during the attack." The Ghost realized their report sent the General to his death. Although they don't believe this warrants his death they could understand the severity of his failure. Since the existence of Clan Spartan this has had the highest amount of casualties. However the Ghost weren't completely right. Ri'lah didn't want the General to leak information about his people.
"So what's the plan?" One of the Ghost looked for answers from his fellow Ghost grinning that they finally had a mission other than laying out in the snow.
"The brothers will be returning with the General to Naboo and on the way he is supposed to meet an accident. Am I Clear?" Both brothers perked up learning they were leaving this snowy wasteland.
"What about the attack on Wampa's? Shouldn't we stay here to help with that as that is our responsibility." Although Lantern wanted to leave he felt that they should at least help clean up the mess they originally started.
"Very well we will handle the assassination. You'll handle the attack.
"
