Aon looked down on the two remaining Alpha Squad members, Abdul-Lateef and Mary.

Its figure flashed and appeared before Mary who was reading a book on the history of cloth designs.

[Enjoying yourself?]

"Not really. Kind of wish I hadn't read it."

Aon took a seat opposite her.

[Why not?] It asked, curious.

"It feels like history is repeating itself. We aren't really making new designs, just innovating what already exists." She sighed. "I was hoping to get inspiration for new designs by seeing the progression of history but now…"

[All you see is lack of progress you humans have made in recent history.]

"Exactly."
