Ethan felt a shock of disbelief, followed by a burst of happiness. He was going to be a father. He was going to have a family with Ariana. He looked at her, feeling a new wave of love and awe. She was carrying his child. His miracle.

He leaned down, kissing her forehead. He whispered in her ear, "I love you, Ariana. You're the best thing that ever happened to me. And now you've given me another gift. Our child. Thank you, my love. Thank you."

He hugged her, holding her close. He felt her stir in his arms, opening her eyes. She looked at him, confused and groggy.

"Ethan?" she said, her voice weak. "What's going on? Where are we?"

He smiled, tears in his eyes. He kissed her again, then told her the news.

"Ariana, you're pregnant. We're going to have a baby."

She gasped, her eyes widening. She touched her stomach, feeling a faint flutter. She looked at him, her eyes shining with happiness and wonder.
