Ariana's heart raced as she fled through the dense forest, the branches scratching at her skin like claws. She could feel Ethan's eyes on her, tracking her every move, and the weight of his betrayal threatened to crush her. She had trusted him, believed in their love, and he had repaid her faith with deceit and lies. The forest seemed to darken, the trees looming over her like sentinels, as she ran from the pack and the man she loved.

She stopped abruptly, her breath heaving in her chest, and collapsed onto the ground, the tears she had held back for so long finally broke free. She hugged her knees to her chest, willing the agony to end, but it only grew worse. The world around her seemed to mock her, the trees creaking and groaning as if in cruel laughter.
