"She's not a threat... she's my girlfriend." The moment the word fled Victor's mouth, Leia's eyes broadened in disbelief, and she looked at Selena, then back at Victor. "What! What do you mean she's your girlfriend? You don't even know the kind of person she-"

"Quit the babbling!" Selena, who was already offended by her words, cut her off and stood up from the bed. She stormed towards her and stood in front of her, gazing into her black eyes. "He's my mate! And I am sure you know that I can never hurt my mate. So quit it." She folded her arms in displeasure, and Leia's jaw fell in shock. "Ma-mate." Her eyes blinked twice, and she shifted her gaze to Victor and then back to Selena. 

She unexpectedly grabbed Selena by the arm and pulled her out of the room, then dragged her out of the apartment and slammed her against the wall.
