Capítulo 6: Obvious Difference

As I awaken from the haze, my mind is filled with an overwhelming sense of confusion. It's as if I'm constantly chasing my tail, every step forward brings me to more questions. But something strange has happened, and it's allowed me to recall more of my past life. I know now that I used to be a soldier, but beyond that is just a blur. Every time I try to grasp at a memory, a searing pain shoots through my head, leaving me disoriented and lost once again.

But it's not just my memories that have changed. As I look down at my body, I notice that I'm now towering over what I once was, and my bones are an eerie shade of blue that seems to glow in the dim light. It's strange, but I feel stronger, as if there's a power coursing through me that I can't quite understand. Yet with this newfound strength comes a dark energy that feels like it's bubbling up from within me. It's a feeling that I'm not sure I can trust, one that could easily make me out to be a villain in the eyes of others.

What defines good and bad? Is it one's intentions or actions? These are the questions that I'm grappling with as I begin to wander through this strange new world. Suddenly, movement in the distance catches my attention, and I see a human. My heart races as I realize that I might be capable of speech. I take a deep breath and shout out, "Hey there! Please don't be afraid! I just want to figure things out. I may look different, but I promise I won't hurt you!" But before I can even take a step towards her, she runs away in terror. Of course, who wouldn't be afraid of me? I'm a towering monster with glowing blue bones.

As I watch her disappear into the distance, a sense of overwhelming loneliness washes over me. Will I ever find someone who can accept me for who I am? Was choosing to be something other than human a mistake? But I know that it would have been far too dangerous to choose something so weak. Maybe I'll find other skeleton people like me, and we can be friends. Or maybe I'll be alone forever in this strange new world. The thought is enough to make me question my sanity. Can I even go crazy? I don't know, but at this point, I don't think I care anymore.

Shira's Diary 1

-------

The clock read 12:42 AM, and the world was in chaos. The ground shook violently, and I received a message through magic urging me to go to base. A sense of foreboding washed over me. Something dangerous was happening, and I was caught in the middle of it.

Suddenly, I heard a clinking noise, like something heavy striking against metal. My heart raced as I frantically searched for the source of the sound. And then, I saw it. A creature, unlike any I had ever seen before, stood before me. It was a giant blue skeleton, its empty eye sockets staring menacingly at me.

Fear overtook me, and I froze for a moment, staring at the creature in disbelief. The skeleton's jaws moved up and down, as if laughing at my terror. I quickly realized that I had likely trespassed on its territory, and the creature was not happy about it. With adrenaline coursing through my veins, I knew I had to run, and fast.

I sprinted as fast as I could, the sound of my pounding footsteps ringing in my ears. The skeleton's presence loomed behind me, its malicious intent driving me forward. I had to make it to safety, to warn the leader of the impending danger.

The world around me was a blur as I raced through the dark, deserted streets. My heart raced as I pushed myself to go faster, my lungs burning with the effort. I knew that I could not let the creature catch me, or it would mean certain doom.

As I ran, a sense of familiarity washed over me. Had I seen this creature before, somewhere in a book or a legend? I could not recall, but I knew that the danger it posed was all too real.

Finally, I reached safety, panting and gasping for breath. My heart raced as I ran to relay the terrifying encounter to my boss, Wille. I could not shake the feeling that the skeleton's presence was a sign of something even more dangerous to come. For now, all I could do was wait and hope that we could survive whatever lay ahead.
