Capítulo 150: 150. Where's my wife?

Derek rose to his feet.

"I will have you moved to a different room and get you some food. Then you wash down and rest for tomorrow."

"Please..." Glover straightened himself a little and brought both palms together in front of his face. "I don't want to stay here for another day. Please... let me go." His eyes shimmered with tears and his voice broke. The sharp pain in his stomach stung and he hissed, clutching his abdomen.

"You will get out of here soon. Let's get you something to eat first." Derek assured him.

"Please..." Glover whispered as tears ran down his face.

With slow steps, Derek made his way towards Glover, who lifted his head and gazed up, staying alert not knowing what Derek was up to.

Derek surprised him by offering him his hand.

"I'll take you to your new cell." Glover heard him say and he stared at him, surprised. Why was he helping him? Or was the guilt too much for him to bear?
