Esther got the doctor's attention with her voice and the doctor looked her way. He was wondering why Joshua looked so scared, and when he saw the surprised look on Esther's face, he confirmed his thoughts.

He had hidden this from her.

"Oh, it was a linear fracture. Nothing to worry about."

Linear fracture? Why did it sound so scary?

"Babe, trust me, it was nothing serious that was why..."

"Lets go." She cut him short and took the lead out of the office. She really wanted to shout at him but she couldn't do that in the presence of the doctor. And also not in a hospital.

There was a map right opposite the doctor's office showing different locations in the hospital, and arrows guiding the way as well. Esther wordlessly led the way, following the arrows till they got to the unit.
