Hayford left Elaine's home after she assured her she was okay. In truth, she wasn't sick, but she told Hayford she would take her medicine just to calm him down.

He got to his home and saw the food he had left. It had gone cold, but he sat down and finished it. He was not one to waste food. Plus it was one of his favourite meals she made him.

After eating he cleared the table and went ahead to wash the dishes. And then he took a quick shower and readied himself for the online meeting they had scheduled. It was likely a final decision would be made in this meeting, the thought.

The meeting started somewhere around 9pm. All team members were on board and tried to be active so the meeting got a bit heated with lots of suggestions coming up.
