Capítulo 71: Neivayka

Neivayka looked into the mirror attached to her dresser and sighed despondently. Any other day she would have been excited that her hair was working so well with her. Today, it was just an annoyance. A reminder that she was still stuck in this world and not down helping her friends.

She slammed her fist on the dresser as the feeling of anger and helplessness overwhelmed her. The others had gone to see the gods-speaker days ago, and all they could say was that they would speak to the Gods. Neivayka still rolled her eyes at their arbitrary turn of phrase. Their calm demeanor, however, frustrated her to no end. How could they be so nonchalant about the whole situation? This was their own people! Well, hopefully, their own people. No one seemed to know where they came from or who they were. They were a cloaked reclusive clan that kept their secrets so closely guarded that many wondered if they were Gods themselves.
