The next day, Leon came with Naia to the restaurant to talk to Timothy.
"A stage name already, eh?"
"Yes," he said. "Naia… came from a troubled family. It would be troublesome if she's found."
"Ah, I see. I understand, I understand," he said, looking at the girl with eyes full of pity. He was no doubt imagining very dramatic stuff.
Leon then looked at Pipa, the waitress, who also nodded wildly. "Yes, yes!"
Satisfied by the talk, Leon heaved a sigh of relief.
He kissed Naia as they parted, already missing her as soon as he left the door.
Back inside, Timothy looked at Naia's simple dress. Normally, he wouldn't allow it and maybe even lend her a dress, but the way she carried herself made people think she was wearing branded clothing, so he let it go.
He handed her a plate of snacks with a big piece of bread. "You will play until 1:30 pm, well after lunch time," he said, "You should eat brunch."
