Capítulo 19: The New Pirate King’s Road

The seas of the New World were no longer the same. The death of Whitebeard had sent shockwaves through the world, and the old balance of power was shattered. But amidst the chaos, one man had risen from the shadows, staking his claim on the broken pieces of the pirate empire: Marshall D. Teach, also known as Blackbeard.

His ambitions, once hidden behind his crooked grin and deceptive charm, were now laid bare for the world to see. Blackbeard wasn't just after power—he wanted it all. The One Piece, the title of Pirate King, and the control of the seas that Whitebeard had once held were now within his grasp.

On the deck of his flagship, the wind howled through the sails, and Blackbeard stood at the helm, his eyes fixed on the distant horizon. His crew bustled around him, eager to carry out his orders as they approached the next island in their path. His heart raced with the thrill of his newfound power, but what drove him more than anything was the promise of the One Piece.

"Zehahahaha! The treasure of Gol D. Roger is out there, just waiting for me to take it!" Blackbeard shouted, his voice booming over the ship. "And no one—not the Marines, not the other Yonko, and not that brat Luffy—will stop me!"

His crew, as fierce and twisted as their captain, cheered in response. Shiryu wiped the edge of his sword with a cloth, his sharp eyes glinting with anticipation. Van Augur, perched on the crow's nest with his rifle, scanned the seas, his calm demeanor betraying the excitement underneath. Laffitte danced around the ship's deck, his eerie smile never leaving his face, while Burgess flexed his muscles, eager to crush anyone who dared stand in their way.

But even as Blackbeard sailed on, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake, he knew that his ultimate goal lay at the end of the Grand Line. Raftel—the legendary island where the One Piece was said to be hidden. The road to the Pirate King's throne was filled with obstacles, but Blackbeard relished the challenge.

"Soon enough, the whole world will kneel to me," Blackbeard muttered to himself, his grin widening. "I'll show them all what it means to be the Pirate King."

In a hidden stronghold deep within the Revolutionary Army's territory, Monkey D. Dragon sat at the head of a table, his expression unreadable. Around him, the top commanders of the Revolutionary Army exchanged nervous glances as reports of Blackbeard's movements trickled in.

"Blackbeard is expanding faster than we anticipated," said Koala, her face pale as she laid out the latest maps showing the islands Blackbeard had already taken. "He's moving into Whitebeard's former territories, but it's clear he's not going to stop there. He's amassing an army of pirates and taking control of entire regions."

Sabo, sitting beside Dragon, leaned forward, his fists clenched. "He's after the One Piece, just like Luffy. But if Blackbeard gets there first..."

Dragon remained silent for a long moment, his eyes closed as if in deep thought. Then, finally, he spoke. "Blackbeard is more dangerous than we expected. With Whitebeard's powers, he's becoming the greatest threat to the world, even more than the World Government realizes."

Sabo's jaw tightened, his thoughts racing back to his brother. "Luffy won't let Blackbeard take the One Piece without a fight."

Dragon glanced at Sabo, the faintest flicker of emotion crossing his face. "Your brother will face Blackbeard eventually. But for now, we need to ensure that Blackbeard doesn't gain too much control before that happens."

Koala looked up from the maps, her brow furrowed. "Do we make a move against him?"

Dragon shook his head. "Not yet. We'll watch. We'll gather intelligence on his operations. When the time is right, we'll strike. But for now, let him think he's unstoppable. His arrogance will be his downfall."

Sabo nodded, though the thought of sitting back while Blackbeard continued his conquest didn't sit well with him. Still, he trusted Dragon's judgment. They would strike when the time was right.

Meanwhile, on the high seas, Red-Haired Shanks sailed with his crew, watching the shifting tides of the New World with a keen eye. He had heard the news of Blackbeard's conquest, and he knew the winds of fate were pushing everything toward a final confrontation.

Shanks stood at the bow of his ship, his red hair whipping in the wind as he gazed out at the horizon. "Blackbeard's not wasting any time," he said, his voice calm but filled with a sense of urgency. "He's moving quickly, too quickly. But the faster he moves, the more careless he'll become."

Benn Beckman, standing beside Shanks, took a long drag from his cigarette before exhaling slowly. "You think Luffy's ready for what's coming? He's strong, but Blackbeard's got two Devil Fruits now. That makes him more dangerous than anyone Luffy's faced before."

Shanks smiled faintly, though there was a seriousness in his eyes. "Luffy will get there. He's got a spirit that won't be broken. And when the time comes, I'll be there to help him. But it's his battle, not mine."

Beckman nodded, though the concern lingered in his mind. The road ahead was filled with dangers, and Luffy still had a long way to go before he was ready to face Blackbeard. But if anyone could do it, it was him.

In a small corner of the New World, aboard the Thousand Sunny, Monkey D. Luffy stood at the helm, his eyes gleaming with determination. The events of Marineford were still fresh in his mind, and the weight of Whitebeard's final words hung heavily on his shoulders.

"The One Piece is real," Luffy murmured to himself. His fists clenched as he thought of everything that had happened. Ace's rescue, Whitebeard's death, and now, Blackbeard's rise. But none of that would stop him. He had made a promise, and he was going to keep it.

"We're getting closer, aren't we?" Zoro asked, standing nearby, his swords resting on his hip. His one good eye scanned the horizon, ever watchful for the next challenge.

"Yeah," Luffy replied, his grin widening. "The closer we get, the stronger the enemies are. But that just makes it more fun!"

Nami, who had been studying the maps and navigation charts, glanced up with a sigh. "Fun for you, maybe. But Blackbeard's moving fast. He's already claimed a bunch of islands, and it won't be long before he comes after us."

Luffy's eyes darkened at the mention of Blackbeard. He hadn't forgotten what Blackbeard had done—betraying Ace, causing the war at Marineford, and now trying to claim the One Piece. But Luffy wasn't afraid.

"If Blackbeard wants the One Piece, he's going to have to go through me first," Luffy said, his voice filled with conviction. "And I'm not losing to him."

Sanji, puffing on his cigarette, nodded. "That bastard's not gonna know what hit him. But we've got a long way to go before we catch up to him."

Robin, sitting nearby with a book in hand, smiled faintly. "The race for the One Piece has truly begun. But Blackbeard's arrogance will be his undoing."

The crew of the Straw Hat Pirates was united in their determination. They had faced countless obstacles on their journey, but the challenges ahead would be greater than anything they had ever known. And yet, there was no doubt in their minds that they would prevail.

"Full speed ahead!" Luffy shouted, his spirit burning brighter than ever.

As the Thousand Sunny surged forward, cutting through the waves, Luffy couldn't help but feel the excitement bubbling inside him. The road to Raftel was ahead, and the race to become Pirate King was on.

In the shadows of the New World, pirates whispered of the growing storm. Blackbeard, with his two Devil Fruits, was a monster unlike any they had ever seen. But amidst the whispers of fear, there was also talk of a young pirate who was sailing forward with a smile on his face—a pirate with the will to challenge even the darkest of foes.

The winds were shifting, and as the world held its breath, it became clear that the final battles for the One Piece were approaching. The New World had never been more dangerous, and the path to Raftel was lined with enemies, challenges, and uncertainty. But for Monkey D. Luffy, that was exactly what he wanted.

The Pirate King's road had begun.
