The wars on this planet didn't stop for a bit and only this part of continent was peaceful as it was separated from the rest of the continent by high spicky mountains and deep forest filled with all kind of dangerous beasts and creatures that became now even more e dangerous as they got intelligence as well trough the energy slowly slowing thought the world. 

The war didn't touch them, but they could feel it as less and less trade ships arrived to their side to bring needed supplies. 

The City Lord finally got even the call to rise as many men as he could to send them to war to fight for their motherland but he literally teared it apart.
