The storm hit the small hiding thing quite strongly. 

Even though they put quite an amount of fern, leaves and sticks, the rain still passed through and dripped onto their bodies.

Both girls hugged each other to keep warm and even though some drops passed through the gaps, it was not that much to make them be drenched. 

The whole night long they hugged and shook from coldness and wind and hoped only that it will end, but it didn't end so easily.

As the gloomy morning arrived, they realized that the storm didn't pass and still continued hitting the forest.

They were both hungry and cold.
