The fortune-teller was however surprised again because she didn't get the expression or reaction that she was expecting from Adeline. "I assume that you are aware of it then." The lady puckered her lips and was trying her best to maintain her calm.

She took a deep breath again and managed to smile at Adeline. Then she held out her hands again for Adeline to hold and said, "Let me try again. You still want me to see into your future don't you?"

Adeline smiled back and then cautiously held the lady's hand again.

This time the lady did not throw Adeline's hand. She closed her eyes and began to concentrate.
