After emptying all the scales in the hospital shed, Ars leaves without Richard or those around him knowing.
Walking on the street, he saw that there were a lot of pedestrians compared to a few minutes before. People are no longer afraid of being infected with Night Fever, after hearing the news that all patients have miraculously recovered.
Only a handful of people knew that he was the mastermind behind this incident, so Ars didn't attract attention as he walked.
"At the current level of technology, it will be at least five more years before a Night Fever vaccine is found. When that time comes, who knows how much of the human population will be left."
Seeing the excited faces of the people around him, his mood was as calm as the surface of a lake.
(If it were me before, I would also feel other people's happiness. Sure enough, the longer I live, the more apathetic I become and lose my humanity.)
Even so, Ars didn't care about this, and had expected it sooner or later.
...
"No one?"
Ars infiltrated the mansion, but did not find Marie.
"The last time I met little Marie was about three years ago. Forget it, she's not like me an unemployed person who has unlimited time."
He wasn't too upset about not being able to meet his friend's granddaughter.
In addition to managing the Grocery Bar that Nicholas founded, Marie had built a cosmetics company, and as the company's CEO, every second of her time was precious.
"Now then, let's look at the situation in other countries."
Ars left the mansion, from the beginning of his arrival until his departure, no one noticed his existence.
...
In just five hours, Ars has circled the world once. If it weren't for him occasionally stopping and observing the state of the human settlement, he could have been faster.
He was now in the Sarabael Country, which was the oldest country in the world.
"As the oldest country, this place is very poor. This place is even worse than Mathias City in the Yakini Country."
This was already the fifth city in the State of Sarabael that Ars visited and observed.
If he had to make a comparison, Mathias City was like a city, whereas the cities of the Sarabael Country were like slum villages.
"Rin and Idaten of the previous generation were too careless, they never even considered the fertility of the soil for humans to grow crops."
The land in Sarabael Country is barren land and it is difficult to grow plants, so the people of Sarabael Country experience hunger and malnutrition. Coupled with the Night Fever epidemic, their lives were very miserable, and many people decided to commit suicide.
Ars knows Sarabael Country was founded by Rin and the other Idaten before the Demons were sealed. Originally this place was just an underground shelter, dug out to keep humans safe.
But, after several centuries, there were only a few humans left to live in the Sarabael Country. Landslides, droughts, floods after every rain, etc.
"This place is too harsh for humans to survive."
"Alright, I will help change Sarabael Country for the better."
After wandering around, Ars couldn't stand the suffering of the humans around him and decided to help.
"Rin won't be mad if I skip training for a few days, right?" Ars muttered.
...
Ars worked hard for a week.
Apart from curing everyone infected with Night Fever, he does many other things.
He turned barren lands into fertile lands, grew many herbs and wheat, tamed floods, etc.
He turned the Country of Sarabael into a much more livable place.
Ars didn't hide his whereabouts, so the people of Sarabael Country witnessed all the actions he was taking.
They even made a religion out of him and considered him a god.
Of course he never claimed to be a god, but they wouldn't listen to him, and still worshiped him as a god.
Ars looked at the green land and the river flowing through the fields.
Here are all the results of one week's work!
"I have made this country a livable place, the rest is up to you. Whether you want to develop or destroy it has nothing to do with me."
Those words were meant for the people behind Ars.
"We understand, God Ars. We will definitely work our best to maintain and enhance all of your boons."
A 35 year old man, wearing religious attire, and a tall hat on his head. His name is Joshua, and he is the highest priest of the religion that worships Ars.
"I hope what you said is true... I've stayed too long, I must return."
Ars glanced at Joshua and the other worshipers, then his figure disappeared by accident his movement was too fast for human eyes to see.
"Farewell, God Ars."
Joshua and hundreds of worshipers knelt down and bid their farewells. Unfortunately, the god they worshiped didn't listen, for he was thousands of kilometers away.
...
Ars ran at Hypersonic speed. From his vantage point, the scenery around him changed in just a few seconds like a movie being sped up, but one sight made him stop abruptly.
"It is..."
He walked toward a phenomenon that caught his attention.
In front of him was a vortex like a black hole. If you pay close attention, inside the vortex there is a yellow light similar to the sun.
"Don't tell me this is the phenomenon of the birth of a new Idaten?"
Ars once asked how Idaten appeared to Rin.
According to Rin, Idaten is a naturally emerging figure. Idaten's birthmark is a vortex floating in the air.
If the vortex is left unchecked, the Idaten within the vortex will still be born in a few centuries. But with the intervention of another Idaten, they can be pulled out in the blink of an eye.
The reason Brandon (Ars) was trapped in a place filled with darkness for more than 24 hours, on his seventh reincarnation, he was reincarnated as Idaten and took several centuries to be born. Luckily, within a few days of incubation, Rin came to find him and pulled him from the vortex, allowing him to be born much sooner than he should have.
The reason Rin is patrolling around the world, she intends to find and attract new Idaten to join her.
"Should I pull Idaten inside the vortex or call Rin and let her do it?"
Standing in front of the vortex, Ars hesitated to act.
"Just do it, what do I need to be afraid of. With the addition of the new Idaten, that means I have juniors and friends to talk to."
Ars thinks Rin is very boring, and needs someone to talk to.
"Let's begini."
Inserting his right hand into the vortex, he felt a sticky sensation as if his hand had entered quicksand.
"Tastes disgusting..."
Ars complained, then his hand grabbed a hand.
"This is it!"
Retrieving his hand from within the vortex, a tall man with long white hair was pulled along by it.
The vortex disappeared along with the tall man's exit.
"Eh?"
The tall man exclaimed and looked at Ars with a confused expression.
"You know who you are?"
Letting go of the man's hand, Ars asked to test something.
"I? Hmmm.... I'm an Idaten." replied the tall man.
(Sure enough, every Idaten knows this. The reason I'm not the same as them, is because I'm a Reincarnator, so I don't receive any innate information as an Idaten.)
Hearing that, Ars' speculation was finally confirmed.
The tall man before him was Idaten who had just been born, but he already knew his status as an Idaten. In contrast to Ars who did not know anything about Idaten.
"You too, Idaten?" asked the tall youth curiously.
"Yes, my name is Ars, Idaten is just like you. Nice to meet you. What's your name?"
"I am… Prontea."
The tall man frowned, and reported his name.
"Prontea, I will take you to meet the other Idaten."
Not waiting for Prontea to react, Ars grabbed him by the collar and dragged him while running at Hypersonic speed.
The method was exactly the same as Rin had taught him back then.
"Aaaaaa!!!"
Prontea screamed hysterically.
