If you came searching for a well thought out novel where nothing is obvious or bland, then you came to the right Place. Characters: All of Overlord characters have their depth, personality quirks and unique perspectives on life which grows as their abilities and level of existences increase. You don't have thousand year old deities acting like spilt children for a reason. You find out exactly why they are like this and it really emphasises how unique each character is and how much effort he puts into them. The Main Character especially is a tragic, Amoral figure. You grow to understand the reason for his cruelty and brutality and watch him grow as his goals and ambitions, his identity even changes and evolves. Lore: This book has atleast Three sister novels at the time of this review all adding lore and depth to it. Suffice to say the world is vast, realistic in a fantasy sense, and has a reason for all things being the way they are. It's interesting and draws you in with the first descriptive lines. Power System: One area I can say with certain Overlord Has never disappointed with is the freedom, creativity and often times the horror of unique power systems. He really shows what life would be like in supernatural worlds. How crimes would be more horrifying and good deeds more painful and self sacrificial. Overall, he shows Survival for fragile Mortals and the Grounds for the Faith of Deities. Plot: Overlord keeps an acceptable pace for all his stories so far. It never drags unnecessary and any build up you might have thought was wasted actually hide deep foreshadowing. Try this Book Now while to enjoy a real Fantasy Novel that can bring you to a new reality.

This novel is a masterpiece just like other works by this author. It explores Faith and Fear as the main powers of this world in an intriguing way. The protagonist is a psychopath with little regard for his own life, which makes the mechanics of Faith and Fear even more fascinating to read. I highly recommend reading it without any reservations.

It's awesome, I've read author's previous works, and this one is a tributary of IHS, and i expected nthing less and i got nthing less. The main character, iota, is spot on usual messed up kiddo, attached to a person not caring for him. But not much can be said cuz there are only 10 chapters, I'll stay tuned.

Well from the title itself, we see that we're off on a truly dark fantasy ride. Evil mc, like him or not. agree with him or not. He is evil a f. I like these kinds of novels where things go from 0 to 100 in an instant! An exciting world with Devils, and people who do anything to archive their goals. if anyone thinking about reading it or not, I would recommend to stop thinking and start reading! if you like evil and want a refreshing story... u gonna have a great read.

Exceptional novel with a purely psychopathic MC. It's a refreshing read. Iota reminds me of Fang Yuan, but even more maniacal. Recommend it to those that see this.

Another great masterpiece by The OG OV. The Lore is thick (literally) and the world is even more so (figuratively). The growth of the characters, their unique personalities, the intricate web of tiny little summer details is all what takes it to high level of standard. But yeah, if You're not looking for a unethical, insensitive, insane, and totally itch inducing MC, you're fresh out of luck.
