I gave the weapons a look. However, I felt no call or tug from the weapons. I felt nothing of what he was talking about.

"So, where is the call?" I turned to the talkative male.

"You need to be serious when choosing a weapon. Close your eyes."

I gave him a look, "should this not work, I swear to the gods of my kingdom, I will castrate you, and remove that thing you called a tail."

"You dare not!" He shouted, in exasperation.

"Oh, I do." I smirk, "should this not work. I will not only cut your tail off, but I will also make sure I remove those horns from your head." I place a hand under my jaw as I tried not to smirk at the expression of fear in his eyes.

"It will work. However, if it doesn't work, you can blame it on the fact you happen to be a human. As for the wives of my Lord, Kelin —note, he keeps calling the devil 'Lord, Lord'— this was how they got their weapons."

"Hmm."

Could it be that Dusa got her weapons this way?
