Capítulo 30: Forced to ask him to stay away

At 11 pm...

Victoria glanced at Brandon sleeping on the gray sofa with Sophia asleep on his chest. She smiled faintly, feeling deeply moved by the sight.

"So far, Mrs. Casilla Smith hasn't approached me to stay away from Brandon. Does this mean she doesn't care about our relationship? But what if it's because she doesn't know yet, but why Mommy keep asking me to stay away from him?"

The phone vibrated on the table, slowly waking Brandon. He immediately reached out to grab it, then saw there was a missed call from Aurora.

"Ugh, that pest!" he exclaimed irritably, then threw the phone in a random direction, luckily it didn't break when it landed on the floor.

"Emhh..." Sophia yawned.

Brandon carefully lowered her from his chest onto the sofa, then took off his jacket and used it to cover her body.

"You should take her home to rest," Victoria whispered.
