Capítulo 2: Pretense

Helian Meilin was walking to her favourite cafe as she did every morning. She sighed inwardly. Another day of pretending she wasn't the CEO and founder of Sister the biggest and most popular brand in the World. She sighed again. Sometimes, she wondered glumly, it would have been wonderful to have a normal teenage life. To avoid the publicity she had pretended that her cousin was the CEO. She had chosen her cousin as they had been best friends since she was three. Her cousin was called Min Jue. Min Jue was a beautiful women of 21 who hadn't been surprised when Meilin had offered her the position of public CEO. When Meilin arrived at the entrance she saw someone she knew. "Ahmei, there you are!" Meilins mother was beckoning her to a table. "Mum what happened?" Meilin was curios. Her mother never went to this cafe. This was due to an incident that happened a couple years before Meilin was born. "I have something to tell you " Helian Linx was buzzing over with excitement.
