Capítulo 219: Theme park

As Zaya and I walked to a quieter corner of the studio, I couldn't help but feel a mix of apprehension and curiosity. Her expression was serious, and I had no idea what to expect. We found a spot near the large windows overlooking the city, the afternoon sun casting a warm glow over everything.

Zaya took a deep breath, her eyes meeting mine. "Elena, I want to apologize for my attitude before. I've been... difficult, and it's not fair to you."

Her words seemed sincere, but there was a part of me that couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Still, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. "Thank you, Zaya. I appreciate that," I replied, my voice gentle but firm. "I think we could be great friends if we just give it a chance."

A small smile appeared on her face, and she nodded. "I hope so too." She reached out, and we shared a brief, somewhat awkward hug. It was a step in the right direction, at least.
