Capítulo 32: 32. The Exam

.

Weeks passed and it is now October.

Rubando High School will have their third exams for the students this second week. After that, another event will follow, the Sports festival.

Jay is lazily sitting on his chair when Bren entered the room, a stupid smile on his face.

"Jay, I'm gonna tell you something, but let's keep it a secret, okay?"

"What is it, Bren?"

"Ahem. Charlene and I, had just our..... first ... kiss...." Bren whispered.

Jay almost choked on air.

"Are you serious?" In matters like this, Jay doesn't care at all. But he was amazed at Bren, who claimed something like that.

"Okay, congratulations then. I hope you will have a happy relationship with her." With that, Jay closed his eyes.

"Oh? Hehe, thank you for your blessings Jay", Bren laughed so hard that he disturbed their classmates who are reviewing for the exam.

Few minutes passed, the bell rang. Almost all students are nervous, they still need to overcome this obstacle called exam.

But after the two-day exam, all students will surely look forward for the upcoming sports festival. The sports club had begun preparing for it.

The first test will be handled by Mrs. Melissa, their classroom adviser. For Jay, this first exam is a piece of cake for him. He only skimmer his notes for a few seconds and that was enough for him.

The test papers are distributed and the first exam for their first day began.

Jay quickly answered the questions and halfway on his paper, he noticed something going on.

'Oh? How brave and sneaky.'

Jay can't help but thought of their classmates who are currently giving answer signs to their seatmates.

The teacher naturally had to guard over those kinds of cheating, but Mrs. Melissa hadn't noticed something like that at all.

Jay just shook his head and when he was about to resume answering, he almost bit his tongue in surprise.

One of their classmate, seated in front of Mark, is actually using his phone to cheat.

'Google? Damn it, it's for the essay huh?'

Jay just ignored him and looked on his paper. He is wondering why their teacher didn't noticed it. But that guy actually had hidden his mobile phone sneakily.

Besides him, Bren is happy that there are only a few questions that he can't answer at all. For the essay part, there is a question that he can't answer at all. But he doesn't care, he is confident that he can still get a high score this time.

Given Bren's senses, he also noticed those cheaters. Bren only sneered on disdain to those people.

'How weak.'

An hour passed and they all submitted their papers.

Fifteen minutes break.

Bren and Jay are seated on the bench talking about the exam while having their snacks.

"Oh right. Jay, have you thought of joining in a sports competition this coming sports festival?" Bren asked while watching some students train themselves in basketball.

"Not interested actually", Jay answered. For Jay, he is actually lazy to participate in such things.

"Okay, the groupings for the sports festival will begin after the exam. I hope you'll be my teammate. Hehe." The principal announced that the sports festival will have six teams consisting of all the students competing against each other.

The bell rang. Time for the next test.

"Let's go."
