The bridal chamber was dim with the only light filtering through the half-closed curtains. Qie Xieling stirred slightly in his sleep, the sound of water running from the shower jolting him awake. 

He rubbed his eye and half sat up, his naked back covered in a myriad of hickeys from last night. Every part of his body ached like he had been hit by a truck. He didn't regret it last night when they did it two more times but he most definitely regretted it now. 

He lay back down his face pressing against the pillow. He sniffed the pillow subconsciously and his entire body felt content from the faint scent of mint from Luo Muchen's shampoo. With a content smile, he shifted his head slightly and closed his eyes. 

His figure looked dazzling with half his body outlined by the red sheets. The soft sounds of water running in the shower were quite soothing.
