Alaric walked away from Mornbeast with his heart heavy. He had accepted Mornbeast's offer for help. But the feeling in his gut was dark.

He had done his best to prepare to fight Inian, and he's continuing to learn the reverse ability. Even with all of his preparation, and the allies he's gathering, will it be enough?

The next morning, everyone was up and quickly went on the move. Alaric could tell that the people are in a great rush to get to Weton.

Not a day passed, and they made it into Seyukha. The border was marked by the tall mountains that reflected Seyukha's landscape.

Alaric really wanted to stop and meet up with Barry and Ethan, but getting the people to Weton was more important for now.

After a couple more days, they reached the border of Weton, and Eli ran up towards the front of the caravan, "you can go on ahead Alaric and talk to King Frederick. I can lead the caravan while you're away. We'll meet you on the border of Weton."

"I'll meet you there."
