Capítulo 4: Chapter 4: My Mate

I woke up to the strong smell of disinfectant and white walls, I heard yelling and realised that there was two people arguing over me so so sat up and let out a whimper of pain which sent them both looking at me. The one closest to me sat at my side and stroked my face but I flinched from the contact believing that this man at my side was one of the two who tried to hurt me during the hunt for my mate. When I flinched from his touch he let out a small whimper of pain and I decided to look at his face, when my eyes met his I realised he was my mate and I gave him a weak smile at which he beamed back at me. Because I was drugged up and the drugs were fading I realised where I was and who my mate is, I never imagined that I would be royally mated but it seems I was. I asked him what happened to my brothers and I was allowed to visit them and their mates, I'm happy that my brothers found their mates and they threatened the Prince to take good care of me. The Prince surprisingly got along well with my brothers but after being with them for hours I had to go back to the palace with my mate, I was saddened by the fact I had to leave my family but William assured me that I could go to visit them whenever I wanted to.

Her brother's were over protective of their little sister and after I told them what happened to her during the hunt they looked relieved that she now had me to keep her safe and to protect her from the men who would do anything to have her in their beds. I was annoyed at myself for getting to her as late as I did but her brothers understood that what happened wasn't my fault, they teased me and threatened me but I never felt threatened. It was more of a friendly suggestion as they knew I would do anything in my power to keep their sister safe and happy, I unfortunately had to go back to the palace so I led Nova away with the promise that she could visit them whenever she wanted to.
