Hazel missed dinner because she had no appetite for food. Her mind swam with several thoughts. She knew she was being unfair to Caden. But, she was running out of options.
What was she supposed to do? If she decided to go ahead to marry Caden, she had a feeling that she would regret it for the rest of her life.
How could she settle down with Caden if she couldn't stop thinking about Yuka? She let out a sigh and walked out of her room in a bid to clear her mind.
She decided to take a walk down the north wing of the castle. She didn't want to run into either Caden or Yuka. She just wanted to be alone. As she walked along the hallway in the north wing of the castle, she let out an exhale. She suddenly heard Anya's voice. Her feet came to a halt and she clenched her fists.
She was yet to understand what the purpose of Anya's visit to the palace was. Even if she was a half blood like Yuka, it still didn't explain why she was always in the east wing of the castle.
