Capítulo 17: I don't know how to get on a bike

Even if Justin didn't want to work with Krystal, he had no choice but to work with her. Though she was a little annoying, she was still smart and tactful.

"Get on!" Justin said. He sat on his bike and was waiting for Krystal whose hands were filled with flyers to get on, but she didn't.

"I...I..." She stuttered. "How?" She asked. She had never really gotten on a bike before, in both lives.

"What do you mean how? If you don't get on, how are we going to hand out the flyers?"

"We could walk?" She said plainly.

"You're serious?" He looked at her, speechless and she shrugged her shoulders. "Just quit joking and get on. We don't have much time." He said and turned on the engine but she still looked reluctant. He sighed to himself and pulled her by the hand almost spilling the completely arranged and neat flyers. "Look, I don't buy this act of yours." He said fiercely. Krystal stared at his face for a while before laughing.

"Who said I was acting?" She said and forced out her hand from his grip. "Sure I can't get on because I don't know how. What makes that an act, eh?"

"You… you don't know how to get on?" Justin asked. That was not what he had in mind at all. 'Did I misread again?'

"Hey friend!" She patted his shoulder and he looked at his shoulder where she lay her hand. "Not everyone can just hop on a bike like you do every now and then." She took her hands off. "Now be good and show me. I'm scared, you know."

"Puff!" He scoffed and looked away. "Just get on while I hold the bike steady, be careful and you won't have anything to be scared of." He said and Krystal's confused expression lit up. She smiled and tried her best to get on the bike without trouble and she succeeded. "Hold on tight." He warned.

"Hold on tight? Why do I...?" Her words were cut short when the bike started moving with so much speed. She wasn't told before she wrapped her arms around him, forgetting about the flyers in her other hand. Indeed she was scared but Justin paid no attention to her.

When Krystal felt the breeze whooshing past, she raised her head to peek. They were riding through the road without restriction, even if there were several cars. Krystal saw this as amazing and began yelling in excitement.

"Woo-hoo! This is amazing!" She yelled letting go of him and swinging her hand in the air.

"Throw the flyers!" Justin said and she looked at the flyers in their bundle, it was still neat. She took a little stack, and threw it in the air. She watched them like millions of butterflies in the air.

"This is so awesome!" She threw another stack laughing to herself. "I've never felt so free."

Justin watched her from the side mirror. She was too enthusiastic and excited. What was the big deal about throwing papers in the air? (You wouldn't understand)

"Hey friend?" Krystal called.

"Don't call me that, miss glasses."

"Whatever. When we get back, what are you going to be doing?" She asked holding onto him with both hands since they were out of flyers.

"I'll be filling your space while you perform." He said still focusing on the road. He glanced down at her hands that were tightly sealed around him. "Can you let go?" He requested.

"No way!" She rested her head on his back. "I'll just end up falling. The tighter I hold on, the lesser the possibilities of falling on my side. Plus if I do fall," she grinned, "...you're going down with me."

"Despicable!" He exclaimed hatefully and she rolled her eyeballs.

"Call it whatever you want, pretty boy, but I'm not taking my hands off." She insisted confidently.

"Don't you feel ashamed? You're holding onto a boy that you don't know so tightly." He quarried.

"Why should I, when I know you?" She asked, acting confused.

"You don't know anything about me!" He stated and she raised her head.

"Well, I know your name is Justin, you're a boy, you've got amazing white hair and charming emerald eyes. What else?" She pretended to think. "Ah yes! You're handsome and tall, plus you work at 'First flight to the sky'. Anything else I missed out on?" She asked with a victorious smile. He saw her smile and through the side mirror and simply shook his head. He was vested by her and there was nothing he could say.

"You're one tough nut to crack." He exclaimed.

"Thank you!" She said taking it as a compliment. "And you, my friend, are one good opponent."

"Do you love to bicker?" He inquired clearly frustrated.

"Let me see." She pretended to think for a while before shaking her head. "Not really, but with you, I think it's become a habit."

"You can't say you don't bicker with your siblings." He said.

"They don't really dare to." She said in hushed tone looking at the side with a blank expression. They really didn't dare to, knowing her identity well enough.

By the time they got back to the shop, it was already dark and they met everyone outside. They had already closed the shop. Felix's gaze fell on Krystal's arms around Justin. He frowned.
