Capítulo 13: Chapter 12
After replying to Matsuri's messages, she went to the bathroom then she saw a ticky note at the door, she read it carefully.
(old sis is going home... but that didn't happen? how strange... well a lot of stuff changed..)
She brushed off her thoughts and went to change her clothes, brushed her teeth and ate then she went to school, She and Mumei didn't go together. that's expected.. she did wrong her...

The classroom is filled with loud yet cheery chatter as there is no class, a break time which is unusual.
Hiori looked beside her seat where the window is looking for a familiar face yet what she saw is a scenery from the outside, a blooming sakura tree.
She sighed 'why can't I see her? she's not avoiding me... is she?'
Hiori lazily rested on her chin on her right hand she sighed as she stared outside.

Mumei left the classroom and went to the school's rooftop, there a man taller than her stood there he waved his hand, smiling.
Seeing this Mumei stood by the door dazedly... She shook her head and went to where he stood.
The smile on his face went away, and the color on his face changed a few times. After saying her stance Mumei turned around to leave but a force from behind made her body sway, she closed her eyes expecting to feel pain as she falls but instead she felt someone's warmth from behind and a force wrapping on her waist.
Confused as to why Mumei suddenly wanted to break up, his body reacted first and tugged on Mumei's sleeves using too much force he saw Mumei's body falling he quickly grabbed her on the waist and let her fall in front of his body, he sighed in relief.
''Let go.''
''W-what?'' he answered puzzedly
''Let go of me.''
''R-right'' He nervously let go of her
''...''
''sorry'' he said as he looked at her back
Mumei sighed and turn to face him, she looked at him straight into his eyes ''what?''
''oh..?''
''...''
''oh umm..right... I ... Did I do something wrong? why would you...and so suddenly..''
''just because.''
Yuki's eyes widened ''what?!''
Mumei sighs then she said eloquettely ''it's not sudden. It's been a while since I wanted to bring this up but I didn't know how to''
Yuki interrupted ''then why now?! why bring this up now?!''
''Because I... The longer I keep this up then im not just hurting you but also myself. I don't want to keep on lying to you or to myself anymore.''
''Is this because I told you to do it? Do you know the rumors about... how you and your friend?''
Mumei just stared at him ''...''
Yuki laughed bitterly ''so you did... so is it true? then what about me? why did you agree to date me?''
''to give you a chance''
(to stop my feelings on her)
tears formed on his eyes as he bitterly laughs ''A chance? a chance...''
Mumei said in cold voice ''bye.''
she left the place without looking back.
Yuki's gaze stucked on Mumei's back, He stared at her as she walked away the he shouted ''Hey!! I'm not giving you up... I didn't comply! we! you and I are still in a relationship!!''
Mumei already closed the door behind her so she didn't hear what he was saying back there. She went back to the classroom and her eyes landed on Hiori who is soundly asleep her eyes, cresent the end of her lips lifting up. she is smiling, smiling so tenderly.
Bell rang loudly, teachers who was having their break sighed as they trudge back to their desk to get their things reluctantly then they proceed to their perspective classes.
the loud sound from the bell woke Hiori up, as it rang so loudly her body shook her eyes half-way open she lazily stretched her arms and a yawn follwed. She looked around and finally she realized that everyone's attention was on her.
her face got red from embarassment, she smiled awkwardly as she apologized.
Mumei who's seating not far from her saw all of it. She had a smile the entire time on her face.

the class went on as usual...
class ended, the students with club activites hurried to their clubrooms.
only a few were left inside the classroom, some moved their tables close to each other as sat on their sits as they do their worksheets while a bustling noise could be heard a few times.
time ticking but Hiori is still doing her homework like a student should as if she doesn't know that the end is nearing.
how can she not? when doing this worksheet is her only way to be with Mumei?
Hiori who's 'answering' hers would stare at Mumei from time to time, it would only last a few minutes but who knows when but she started getting bolder! with her right arm supporting her chin she stared at Mumei!
of course Mumei could see her from her peripheral and she couldn't help but laugh internally. she didn't mind it and so she let her (Hiori) to stare at her (Mumei) as she work on her own worksheet.
as time progress the two of them is the only person left in the classroom, Mumei finished first and Hiori is now struggling to do hers. It took her half an hour to finish all her work, Mumei helped her a few times and she listened seriously when she did.
after doing that homework Hiori forgot what she's supposed to say during the break, and the other didn't mentioned it.
they left the school ground at 19:45
the two walked home together.

during dinner, Hiori's older sister didn't come with, as she is still sleeping tired from jet lag.
though she was a bit curious as to what her older sister look like. What she had of her was an old image of her sister's childhood.
Her mom and dad told her not to bother her older sister, at least for now and she agreed.

A few bars of chocolates and hardtacks scattered on the bed along with five mineral water bottles and two duct tapes, Hiori with her hair still dripping with water her shoulder feels a bit dump, on her hand was a backpack which already contains a few bandages and wet wipes inside it, with her not so busy hand she stuffed the backback with the things on her bed then put it aside.
Hiori sat at the bed side holding her phone, the both of her thumbs busy as it landed on different spots at her phone screen, chatting with Matsuri.
Riri: Yori~
are you busy?
Yori: YES.
Riri: how cold~ (˘̩̩̩ε˘̩ƪ)
Yori: why? what is it?
Riri: so hear me out...~
Yori: yeah sure, go hit me up
Riri: this poor self told my dear half about how the world is about to end and... AND she gave me a look!
she gave me this ರ_ರ ... kind of look!
*pfft*
Hiori chuckled when she read Matsuri's message. If she were her she would have done the same thing.
Riri: You just laughed right now (≖_≖ ) right?

Yori: Mhm. I did laughed. you do know that in others perspective the story that I told you would be a one's imagination... that's why I was contemplating whether to tell you or not...
Riri: well a hug would do.
Yori: Sending...

are you gonna go still?
Yori: yeah, and who knows I might encounter someone who could help
Riri: my baby's all grown-up she doesn't even listen to her Mother's plea~~ huhuhu

Riri: you are. hehehe
anyway just keep yourself safe and be cautious of people. don't trust them!
Yori: You too. I won't do the same mistake.
Riri: Mm then that's good. btw did you tell about it to your parents? and your old sis is home too?
Yori: no... they wouldn't believe me...well im sure they will be fine. And besides we bought a lot of supplies.
Riri: well im sure they are but just give them a few hints maybe? who knows they might believe you.
Yori: okay I'll try. you too try to say something to your parents
Riri: my father can handle it when it happens, im just worried about Saki.
Yori: Should you really be worrying about Saki? She and her older brother are the best fighter I know...?
Riri: well you're right but we're talking about the dead here, they don't feel pain or feel tired right? well anyways I won't bother you any longer see you after a week!
Yori: alright see you!
and stop worrying about them too much I'm sure they can handle themselves better than you know. ٩(*´◒`*)۶
she then stopped replying to their conversation.
Hiori lied down at her bed, phone still on hand she pressed on Mumei's profile, Hiori shifted her position to her side then she accidentally clicked on the call button!
''Hiori? what's up?''
Hiori immediately sat up! still in shock holding her phone.
she put it closer to her ear then she said in a questioning tone ''Meimei?''
