Suddenly, dark energy surged from the barrier before falling down on the barrier that Londar had created.

Another barrier was suddenly created, but this one was different, it was made to keep whatever was inside of it inside, making sure to trap Lyle and the others inside of it so that they wouldn't be able to get out.

Nicholas, Lyle, and the rest of the defenders found themselves trapped within this newly formed barrier. The dark energy resonated with a malevolent hum, indicating its potent strength and the danger they were now in. Nicholas's frustration grew as he realized the enemy's cunning plan, one they had no idea of, had come to fruition.
