In the midst of harnessing the power of universal pull a world away in the enigmatic Bermuda Triangle, lies an island adorned with a majestic castle, veiled in an ethereal mist. Within a room befitting royalty, a woman sits upon a regal chair. Suddenly, her eyes snap open, revealing the weight of countless ages witnessed within their depths.
Woman: "Curiously enough, I have felt the same potent surge of magic that has permeated America intermittently over the past year. Though their identities elude me, I am certain they have yet to join our esteemed magical society. To ascertain their whereabouts, I must keep a vigilant eye on that region. Once located, I shall dispatch someone to retrieve this individual. We cannot permit anyone to disregard the safeguards I have put in place to protect our way of life, nor allow them to recklessly wield their abilities in the open."

In the hospital, we anxiously await our father's arrival while a doctor tends to my sister. Suddenly, Charlie bursts through the double doors, his face drained of color, consumed by fear. His eyes fall upon Bella, lying on a gurney, as the E.R. doctor examines her with a penlight. Across from her, Tyler, the van's driver, rests on another gurney, nursing a minor head injury. Charlie rushes closer to us, concern etched on his face.
Charlie: "Are you two alright?"
"I'm okay. Bella might be a bit shaken up though."
Bella: "I'm fine, Dad. Just try to stay calm."
Tyler: "I'm so sorry, both of you. I did my best to stop, but the van just kept sliding."
Before I could utter a word, Bella interjected, attempting to diffuse the situation. However, her words only served to reignite our father's anger, shattering the brief moment of calm.
Bella: "It's alright, Tyler."
Charlie: "It is most certainly not alright!"
My sister's attempt to absolve Tyler of blame was swiftly interrupted.
Charlie: "I nearly lost both of you."
"We're right here, Dad. You didn't lose us," we reassured him.
In that moment, he pulled both of us into a tight embrace, holding us close. Bella and I exchanged glances, touched by the unexpected display of affection. We gently patted his back, silently assuring him that we were unharmed. After releasing us from his embrace, he turned his gaze towards Tyler, his face contorted with anger.
Charlie: "You can say goodbye to your driver's license!"
Tyler resigned himself to his fate as another doctor entered the room. It was Dr. Cullen.

Carlisle Cullen POV:
Carlisle: "I heard the Chief's children are here."
Charlie: "Good to see you, Dr. Cullen."
Carlisle smiled: "I'll take care of this one, Jackie."
Jackie handed me the patient's health chart before leaving the room. I perused through the chart, glancing up at Bella and then at Tony. His eyes were unlike any other purple eyes I had encountered before. Even though the chances of having such eyes were incredibly slim, they shouldn't have rings around them. I also noticed that he was looking at me, and I sensed the same unease my children had felt from him. I must be cautious. I approached Bella and gently placed my hand on her forehead to check her temperature.
Carlisle: "You have a noticeable bump on the back of your head, but your x-rays show no signs of a concussion."
Tyler: "I'm so sorry, Bella. I didn't mean for any of this to happen..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Charlie swiftly pulled the curtain closed, cutting him off.
Bella: "It would have been much worse if Edward hadn't pushed me out of the way and if Alice hadn't helped my brother avoid the van. Then my brother managed to pull both of us to safety before the van came at us again."
Charlie: Edward and Alice? Your children?
I remained silent, focusing my attention back on Bella's medical charts. I knew I would have to have a conversation with Edward and Alice once I returned home.
Bella: "It was incredible how quickly they reached us. They seemed to appear out of nowhere."
I smiled at her, pondering the mystery. I knew I needed to have a conversation with Edward and Alice immediately. They had taken a risk that could have exposed our true nature. They might even be on their way here to see me now.
Carlisle: "As long as you both are safe. Let's complete the examination so you can go home and rest, allowing your head to heal."

Tony POV:
We made our way out of the treatment area. Dad had already left, and it was my turn to drive Bella home. I noticed Rosalie, looking furious at Edward and Alice, with Dr. Cullen standing nearby. I could hear them arguing.
Rosalie: "This isn't just about the two of you, it affects all of us!"
Dr. Cullen glanced in our direction and intervened, stopping Rosalie from saying anything further.
Dr. Cullen: "Let's discuss this in my office."
Rosalie shot a glare at Edward and Alice as she followed Dr. Cullen. As Bella and I approached them, she seemed determined to get some answers. She asked if she could speak to Edward alone, and he agreed. Alice and I walked away for our own conversation. We walked a considerable distance in silence, both deep in thought.
"I won't pry or keep pestering you about it. I'm not like my sister in that way. As long as you don't inquire about what I did either," I said.
Alice looked puzzled. "I'm not sure I understand."
"Haha, it's probably best that way, considering we're both uncertain of what the future holds. Each of us is keeping secrets. When you're ready to share yours, I'll share mine."
Alice beamed. "I appreciate that you're not pressuring me for answers. I'll do the same for you. However, I must say that what you did was remarkable."
"Thank you, and you were amazing too. But next time, I'll be the one to save you. That's what a man should do."
Alice: "You can certainly try, but I can take care of myself. I think it's time we head back. I see Edward coming this way with your sister."
"Alright, you know she won't stop pestering him, right? Are we still on for the weekend?"
Alice: "That's Edward's problem as much as you are my problem. Yes, we're still on. See you tomorrow."
I watched as Alice walked away with Edward, catching her quick glance back at me and her smile. Then Bella arrived.
Bella: "What did you two talk about?"
"We just had a conversation. Nothing significant. What about you?"
Bella: "Same... I'm ready to go home."
"Alright, let's go. Tomorrow is going to be a long day with everyone checking up on us."
We began our journey home. Tonight, I'll keep a close eye out for Edward. If he dares to show up and try to enter my sister's room, he will experience true pain.
