Capítulo 92: New Limits

Upon walking into the room, the conversations died down. Everyone turned their heads to face me. I walked to the head of the circular table before turning to face everyone. Aurora and Lily sat at both of my sides. Myra sat next to Aurora. From Lily's direction, it was Irene, Bodil, Luna, Donkor, Sonia, Touka, Arlo, Vida, Gricelda, Ace, Xander, Omega, Rowan, Beau La Sol, and Valencia in that order. Don was still recovering from the fight I had with him a few days ago. It wasn't like I wanted him here anyway. Anne, Yang Li, and Roxanne stood in the back of the room. I smiled as I took a seat.

Not everybody was caught up on the latest info yet, but they all knew one thing. We were preparing for war.

"Welcome back. I thought you would be gone longer," Arlo snickered.

"You shouldn't assume that Smarus would conform to any sort of pattern," Ace chuckled.

"That's wrong," Donkor shook his head. "The only pattern Smarus follows is his own whim.
