Out of everything that I have ever done, in both of my lives, this game of Rock, Paper, Scissors was the most intense thing I have ever experienced. The risk that I was taking was unbearable. My very pride was on the line.
I only knew Valencia for about an hour, but I was confident that I had a good read on her character. She was a light-hearted woman, but she deeply cared for her culture and morals. However, this was assuming that she wasn't putting up a front.
Our eyes met each other as we prepared for the final match of the game. I could see the fiery passion that was in her eyes. She only smiled at me before looking back at my fist. My mind raced with the possible choices that Valencia could make.
"ROCK! PAPER! SCISSORS! SHOOT!!" We yelled.
Beads of sweat dripped down my face as I shot my hand into the battlefield. I prayed for the best.
Our eyes widened at the outcome of the match. I chose paper and she chose rock. I sighed in relief.
Coming up with chapter titles is hard... But having the freedom to make them is also refreshing.
