'Absorb the Grace!' It was a terrible idea, and Xinzi knew that well. Though Heaven cherished the divines above all others, there were rules that even they couldn't transgress.
Unlike gimmicks such as the Wisp of Heaven's Breath that merely fell from tribulation lightning, Heaven's Grace was a part of Heaven itself—meaning that unlike tribulation lightning and other celestial phenomena, it was a finite, quantifiable force. Xinzi consuming the grace that had been imparted onto Xiao Hu would be like attempting to eat one of Heaven's fingers. The offense made the practice of infernalism look like tomfoolery.
If my careful readers wonder why Tusha and her sisters could open a gate to Hell while a True Devil would need to make uncertain preparations to hopefully do the same, this will be explained in later chaps. Enjoy!
PS: Yongye in Chinese means Eternal Night.
