Capítulo 401: The New Saintess

Eve stared at the nib and then at the parchment. She could notice the stare of the other nobles looking at her and whispering.

They did not try to be discreet at all. She could hear the word curse and hatred of the goddess easily. Her eyes shook.

"Ha! Fine." She took the parchment but when it came to writing the name, she did not write her name. She wrote Elene instead.

If it was the will of the goddess then she would give her sister a chance. If Elene were to be selected the knight would look more for her.

The churchmen smiled at her as he held the card and left from there. She watched with the eyes of a hawk as he placed the slip she had given in the large bowl and all the slips were shuffled a few times.

Then the man on the stage came forward. He smiled softly at the crowd.
